Hands-On Learning for All Ages
Our programs make learning feel natural, playful, and accessible. Kids and adults explore real garden tasks, ask big questions, and discover the magic of ecosystems, life cycles, and the food we grow.
Therapeutic Garden Experiences
Private and small-group sessions use horticultural therapy techniques to support emotional, social, and physical well-being. Participants gain confidence, connection, and calm through meaningful work with the earth.
Organic, Regenerative Farming
On our one-acre organic farm, we grow seasonal produce using regenerative practices that nourish the soil and support biodiversity. Visitors experience sustainable farming up close—and taste the difference.
Immersive Summer Camps
Our camps give children space to explore freely, build friendships, and engage with nature without the pressure of performance. Wonder, curiosity, and joy lead the way through every activity.
Community Events & Workshops
From yoga on the farm to beekeeping classes and farm-to-fork dinners, our events bring people together to learn, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the land in good company.
Fresh, Local Produce Through Our CSA
Our small CSA program connects families to fresh, homegrown food all season long. Each box reflects the rhythms of the land, complete with recipes and inspiration for cooking together at home.
Meet Our Family
About Us
Felix, Amy, (and their two amazing farm helpers), co-created Oasis Lakes Teaching Farm in 2020 after relocating back to Missouri, their home state. Our goal is to create a place weaving peace, harmony, and community with a sense of joy and hope.
Felix, alongside being an incredible physician and Director of Hospital Medicine at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO is our all things garden powerhouse extraordinaire. Felix manages our thriving bee hives, hosts bee keeping and regenerative farming workshops, helps with all things farming and manages installations of all farm infrastructure (greenhouse just added this year in 2025).
Amy started her love for outdoor education and nature therapy back in 2006 in Seattle, WA. It was there that she truly saw the therapeutic value in getting outdoors. She knew what she was meant to do after working with a Seattle based non-profit, Outdoors For All. She then took her passion and taught in the wilderness of North Carolina, which is where she learned to work with kids and teach them the value of growing their own food. She comes with over 15 years of experience working with children outdoors-educationally, and therapeutically. Amy created a signature Horticultural Therapy program for Firstline Schools and The Edible Schoolyard New Orleans, offering special programming for children with exceptionalities and severe social and emotional needs.
Amy’s most recent endeavor has been creating a therapeutic horticulture program at Pearce Hall, the alternative high school for Wentzville School District. In January 2026, she will begin a therapeutic horticulture program at New Horizons Alternative School in Troy, MO
